What is Visual Identity Design?

Hej!

My name is Marco, I’m a Danish/Sri Lankan Art Director & Designer based in Montclair, New Jersey. Design is my passion. I started drawing when I was 5 and the joy of creating something visual out of abstract concepts and ideas remains with me to this day.

I collaborate with my clients to help solve problems that need graphic design. This can be as diverse as;

Environmental design for corporate office buildings, tradeshows, and events.
Concept sketching during brainstorming sessions, live focus group evaluations, and for use in concept pitches, speaker presentations, and other corporate visualizations.
Visual identity design, for companies, products, and services.

For me, the human connection is of the utmost importance. Good design needs to connect to a viewer, a consumer, or a visitor. My clients have a vision – and a challenge. Together we discuss and define the goals and then I translate those ideas into tangible creative visions.
